Hotel Claila

The one thing I'd improve is breakfast: I'd prefer more cakes and fewer muffins, though that's just my personal opinion. Otherwise, the cleanliness, comfort, and attention to detail were all carefully thought through, and the service is unusually precise for the price. The management is kind and friendly, the staff very professional, and they made us feel at home with thoughtful, almost English courtesy. Thank you for the sincere hospitality. We'll definitely return, perhaps to try the newly renovated rooms. See you soon 🤗 I chose the hotel because it met the low architectural-barrier requirements for disabled guests, as my 94-year-old uncle uses a wheelchair. It's in a strategic spot on the Adriatic state road, so there's no need to enter limited-traffic zones (ZTL). There's a disabled parking space next to the entrance, or paid parking inside. Go under the railway when leaving the hotel and you'll reach the square with the Sirena theatre/auditorium. The seafront is 200 metres away, with a beach walk and excellent bars, fish restaurants, pastry shops, tobacconists, a pharmacy, an ATM, and shops. The hotel is very well soundproofed, though you can still hear a little noise from vibrations when some freight trains pass at night. If absolute silence is essential to you, book a room facing the state road.

Clean, quiet, and nice.

Absolutely gorgeous.
