Saverio made sure his guests had everything they needed. He’s warm and generous, and meeting him and seeing his lovely home was a pleasure. Marilena deserves thanks too for her smile and helpfulness. The property was gorgeous and spotless, and the pool was beautiful.

The manager was so thoughtful and kind. With that lovely pool, it’s a great spot if you’re after a quiet holiday.

The rooms at Agriturismo Mielita are modern and comfortable, and the grounds are carefully kept, with grass, tables, and loungers beneath the trees. There’s also a huge pool with umbrellas and sunbeds. It feels wonderfully removed from noise and stress, yet Pizzo and the sandy beaches at Colamaio are only a few kilometers away. The setting looks out over Lake Angitola, a few kilometers from the Pizzo exit on the A2 and from the sea. Nearby, Lido Pescespada has equipped beaches, boat rentals, jet skis, paragliding, and a very good restaurant. We spent Ferragosto by the pool yesterday, my wife and cousin with me. You can spot us in the enlarged photo. Lunch was a lovely mix of sea and mountain food, and the shrimp and truffle risotto was sublime. Saverio, the owner, is attentive, personable, professional, friendly, and discreet. Paolo helps out too, and apparently will even bring a jet ski into the pool if needed! Five seats feel a bit limited. We’d need just as many to give Agriturismo Mielita a fair rating.

The view over the Gulf of Sant'Eufemia is spectacular, and there’s a real sense of peace in this green setting. Saverio looks after the place with care, keeping it so clean and precise. A lovely place to stay, you shouldn’t miss it! 😍
