Hotel Colonna

The lobby had some interesting old cameras and other equipment on display. Our room was decent and had a mini-refrigerator, but no kettle for hot water, which was a downside. Breakfast was OK, mostly cold meat and cheese with some pastry. The hotel is in the town centre, with lots of restaurants and cafes nearby, about a 6-7 minute walk. The town isn't level, though, so with heavy wheeled suitcases you'd have to lift them and get up some stairs to reach the hotel.

I stayed for a week and would highly recommend this hotel. The owner is a delight, helped arrange a taxi for a tour, and made a great cappucino. My room was nice and very clean, and the lady who cleaned it was really friendly. The hotel is in a perfect spot, just a five-minute walk from the station. I'll be back.

I've stayed in 9 hotels in 2 months, and this one impressed me. The location is perfect, the rooms are spacious and excellent, the bathrooms are great, the bedding and pillows are superb, and everything is super clean. The staff were also very helpful. There's no elevator, so expect to climb stairs. I was on the 2nd floor and woke up to the smell of delicious bread baking in a nearby bakery.

We were in town for a nearby wedding and stayed at the hotel for a couple of nights. The valet parking came in very handy, and the staff were kind, welcoming, and helpful. The rooms are older but charming. We had a balcony overlooking the street, a nice place to sit in the mornings. Breakfast was simple but included, which was great. Frascati is a delightful town, and the staff gave us wonderful lunch and dinner recommendations. We'd definitely stay here again if we're in the area.
