We spent nearly a week here with the kids and already hope to return. Breakfast was fantastic, with a friendly team looking after everything, and parking was available. The place is peaceful up near the hilltop, with a terrific view. There’s plenty for families too: horses to ride, a small putting green with a bunker, a pool, plus at least four dogs and four cats. Camilla and Massimo have clearly put a lot of effort and care into this lovely place.

The location is quite remote, about a 15-minute drive from town and restaurants, so it’s worth planning ahead. We stayed in the top-floor suite, one of the best rooms we had in six weeks of traveling around Europe, and its air conditioning handled the record heat well. Breakfast was very good. The valley view is spectacular, and the area still feels relatively free of tourists. The owner and his daughter made us comfortable without hovering, and gave us helpful ideas for wineries and places to eat.

We loved our stay and are definitely planning to come back. The setting is one of a kind, and both the view and the hosts are amazing. For an evening BBQ on the terrace, pick up some meat from the butcher in the next village.

The winding mountain road up from the village is quite a fun drive. At the top, the panoramic views stretch over Verona and the surrounding area. A fantastic place, especially if you’re into horse riding.

The rooms were cozy and clean, and breakfast was nice. The owners are so friendly and easy to communicate with. We had a great time and would absolutely recommend staying here while exploring this beautiful area.
