The mountain view is the best I’ve ever seen, and we’d happily return. The natural wood house felt cozy, spacious and clean, with everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the fresh farm products at breakfast, stretching out on the sunbeds and using the outdoor jacuzzi. The owners and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

The apartment, the views, the village and the hiking options were all wonderful, and the amenities and breakfast were great too. The hosts were very kind. One of the best spots in the Dolomites. Thanks, we’d definitely recommend it. The photo shows the view from the apartment.

You’ll want a car here, since there’s only one grocery store nearby. The farm sits at the end of a valley, surrounded by beautiful scenery, with complete quiet and no cars. It’s an ideal base for mountain walks and relaxing. We booked six months ahead and would suggest reserving early. We stayed in the top-floor Johanblick apartment, overlooking the Church of St. Johan. It had two bedrooms and a spacious kitchen, though the bathroom was tiny. Everything was clean and comfortable, with a homelike family atmosphere. Mrs. Mantinger was pleasant and happy to offer advice or help. You can buy milk, eggs, jams and delicious homemade cheese there at a good price. Wifi is available, but a little slow.
