The port is easy to get to. The bathrooms and toilets were clean, though access was a bit too limited since they’re closed overnight.

We got great value, with cozy rooms and friendly staff. Portorossa Residence was quiet, convenient, and right on the picturesque waterfront. The views were beautiful and the atmosphere peaceful. A great choice for couples or solo travelers looking to relax. Highly recommend!

Mariella, the proprietress, was wonderful and very helpful. The apartment was lovely and small, and conveniently located for sailing from Portorosa.

The beach is rocky rather than sandy, and the water gets deep quite steeply right from the entrance. I wouldn’t recommend it for families with kids. The place needs major renovation: the bathroom looks like it’s from 1984, and the doors and windows are very old and noisy. It’s okay for one night, but otherwise not worth the trouble. I can’t recommend it.
