The Amalfi Coast view is stunning, the pool is fine for cooling off, and the bathrooms were all okay. The kitchen worked, though there isn't much more to say for it. The stay at Residence 'Eden' had plenty of problems. The owner arrived 45 minutes late to pick us up at the nearby hotel and was not welcoming. She waved and beckoned us to follow in broken English, and the drive was awful, nearly impossible for a large car, especially a van. At the residence, she seemed very unkind to non-Italian tourists. She and her family live above the apartments and were the loudest residents, particularly her infant, who was screaming at 8 am without her seeming to quiet him. The apartments were poorly cleaned, and the twin beds were extremely hard, making for many bad nights of sleep. Parking doesn't suit wide or tall cars. The kitchen is very outdated, too. If you have a disagreement with the owner, expect a lot of yelling in Italian. She doesn't speak English or, as far as I could tell, any language besides Italian.

That terrace view is really great, and the pool is kept in good shape, though it isn't suitable for children who can't swim. We stayed in June 2024. The apartments were spacious and clean, and the owners were very helpful. Parking is tight, and you can hear what's going on next door because the apartments aren't very soundproof.

We only had 24 delightful hours here, and the place was clean, carefully maintained, and full of thoughtful details. The abundant breakfast on the terrace above the pool, with its panoramic coast view, was a highlight. The hosts were kind and attentive, and shared lots of tips for visiting coastal destinations. It's on an easily accessible country road up on the Agerola mountain. I highly recommend it, and we'll definitely come back.
