The apartment was fantastic: two bedrooms, a living room, kitchen, and patio, all five stars. It was spacious for a two-bedroom place, and the third-floor patio was huge. All rooms have terraces, and the views from the second and third floors are amazing, as good as anywhere on the Amalfi Coast. The hosts were very helpful at check-in and with local information. I didn't get a response when I first tried their website, which I found through Google Maps, but after finding their Airbnb listing a week later and booking there, they were as helpful as anyone could be. The location is both the main drawback and a plus. On foot, it's far from everything except a bus station. But since the area, "San Michele", is away from the towns and main road, rentals are much cheaper than in Positano or in or near Amalfi, Ravello, Minori, Maiori, or Strada Amalfitana. A similar coast-view rental costing just over $200 here was $800-1,000+ in Positano or Ravello. Besides the distance, I found no other negatives. I was there with two other people and a car in September 2022. The hosts' office is up the mountain in the center of Agerola, while the property itself was beyond any compliments. Having a garage helps, since most Amalfi Coast properties don't have one, from what I found. There's also a bus next to the property that goes up to Agerola or down to Amalfi. There's no direct bus to Positano, so you have to go to Amalfi and then take a bus or ferry. Or you can walk Sentiero degli Dei from Agerola to Positano, which is definitely worth doing at least once. The car made it a perfect rental for me. I drove up to Agerola, parked near the center, walked the trail to Positano, spent a few hours there, took a ferry to Amalfi, spent the afternoon, then caught the bus back to Agerola. Without a car, the bus to Agerola is a five-ten minute ride, and on the way back you can get off right in front of the apartment instead of riding all the way to Agerola, since the Amalfi to Agerola bus passes here.
