Hotel Gajeta

The sea view from our room was lovely, and restaurants and gelato were an easy short walk away. We only stayed one night, but the room was simple, spotless, and just right. Since we had a rental car, the free parking was a big plus.

The location was good, but the stay itself was rough. We paid 400 euros for three people, and the beds were just two twins pushed together. Only two of the six outlets worked, there was mold in the bathroom, and the shower head kept coming loose while I was using it. Although the room was cleaned daily, the trash was left inside for two to three days at a time. The non-refundable 1,000 deposit also wasn't mentioned. If we'd had another option, we wouldn't have stayed.

We liked having the beach close by and a free shuttle, though there was no pool. The kitchenette also had no cleaning supplies, which was a bit inconvenient. Breakfast had a great selection and the morning coffee was excellent. The location was wonderful, and the staff were so friendly. We had a really nice stay.

Our group had lunch here and the food was good, with kind service. My eldest son doesn't eat seafood, so they made him gnocci with tomato and grilled sausages, which made him very happy. We could order from the menu, though I'm not sure if that was because we came as a group or if it's normally allowed. We ate outside on the terrace, which was pleasant, though traffic passes by on the main road. Inside, the restaurant is surprisingly spacious, with several seating areas. The bathrooms were clean.
