La rosa dei venti

The staff were super friendly and helpful throughout our four days in the MAESTRALE apartment. It's a studio, but it was comfortable and convenient for four people. The property is a short distance from Gaeta's center and Serapo beaches, and the parking pass they provided for the blue-lined spaces was a big help. A positive stay, and I'd do it again.

We stayed in LEVANTE, the highest of the several apartments in this property on the Gaeta seafront. The stairs are steep, but the terrace view across the sea to the mountains is spectacular. Breakfast overlooking the water was lovely, and really, any time is a good time to look at that blue sea. Inside, there's everything needed for a comfortable, relaxed, independent stay for up to two people, including a small but very efficient kitchen. Serapo beach and the old town are both a short walk away. It's worth it, you really feel on vacation here.

The gulf view was lovely, and the free parking pass covered the whole Gaeta area. Once we left the car, we could walk to the historic center. We stayed four nights, though the nearby shipyards were a little noisy. Getting up to the studio apartments by stairs was inconvenient, and the room photos may give the wrong impression of the size, so check them closely.

The owner was so helpful and courteous, even giving us a little local guide she had put together. It led us to a great restaurant for dinner. We were there just one night with family, and found the place clean and nicely furnished. The parking pass was another real plus, since we could drive around without worrying about blue parking lines. Highly recommended!
