We got great dinner and sightseeing tips from the owner and his partner, who were both delightful and went out of their way to help. We stayed in the “Capri” room, which was stunning and unlike anywhere I’ve stayed before. Such a wonderful spot, and great value too. I was super impressed.

Parking is all on the street in blue-line spaces, at €2 an hour until 3:00 a.m. The place is in Gaeta's historic center, with a breathtaking view, and sits inside the ZTL. Giving your license plate to the host should be enough to avoid a fine. Our Palmarola room was a little small and not very comfortable, and the kitchen and other shared areas could have been cleaner. There was dust and insects crawling on the furniture. One kind gesture from the host was waiving our tourist tax, since we’d forgotten to pay it when we left.
