The Tuscan countryside here is so peaceful and full of charm, and the food was delicious, clearly prepared with care. Gabrielle, Francesco, and Francesca were warm and kind from the moment I arrived, and made me feel at home. I had a lovely stay at Borgo Casa al Vento and would gladly come back.

LOVELY Casa al Vento was a wonderful place for our honeymoon, and the staff were so genuinely kind. My amazing wife (if she happens to read this) and I had such a lovely time. As a hotel manager myself, I can really appreciate how well this little piece of heaven is run.

We were given an unexpected upgrade to a private suite in a pretty stone villa among the Sangiovese vines, complete with a plunge pool. The team, led by Francesco, made a real effort to make us feel welcome, and even treated our dog, Archie, like a VIP. The restaurant served generous breakfasts and authentic Tuscan food at fair prices, and the wines were made with love and respect for tradition. The hotel sits in the heart of Chianti Classico terroir, with everything you need in one peaceful, exclusive spot. It would work for a short stay or a few weeks. No wonder Borgo Casa Al Vento is one of Italy's leading wedding venues. Staying here felt special and romantic.

The wedding itself was great, but my stay at the hotel fell short. There was mould and rust in the rooms, and basic housekeeping had been missed, so we had no extra toilet paper or drinkable water. Breakfast was included, but the lunch menu felt overpriced for the portion sizes and food quality. The drive in is full of turns and quite turbulent, and many guests said they felt very nauseous.

The planning process was easy, with patient guidance and useful recommendations. Music, food, the dessert, and even a charming ice cream truck all helped make the celebration feel personal. The staff supported us throughout the weekend, always professional, attentive, and a step ahead. They smoothly handled rooms, guest logistics, special requests, and even last-minute vegan buffet options. Everything from the ceremony spot to dinner under the stars looked stunning. The meals were delicious and thoughtfully made, including care for families with children. Our guests had a fantastic time, and many said they want to return. We do too. It was an unforgettable wedding, and I can't recommend the place enough for a celebration or a peaceful Tuscan getaway. ❤️
