The cooking class with Paula was the highlight of our stay. She clearly knows her stuff and taught us to make two kinds of pasta from scratch, plus secondo and tiramissu. We ate our amazing homemade dinner while chatting with the other guests. The whole place felt dreamlike, with every corner and our room looking like a painting. The breakfast room was adorable, and breakfast can be delivered to your room in a wicker basket.

The peaceful atmosphere and breathtaking views made this feel like a magical Tuscan dream. Every detail had charm and beauty, and we felt so welcome and well cared for. I'm already dreaming about coming back.

Breakfast was a real highlight, with freshly prepared sweet and savory choices, including eggs and crepes made to order. We stayed in the charming Maria suite, which had a roomy, very comfortable bed. The property has lots of private spots to sit with a bottle of wine and a meat and cheese board, along with a wonderful pool area. The private jacuzzi room is a must-do for couples. We had an absolutely phenomenal stay at Pieve Marsina & Borgo Argenina, and quickly wished we'd spent our whole trip there. The restored buildings and surrounding grounds are serene and meticulously cared for. The cooking class was well worth the cost. For groceries, we recommend the very modern co-op store in Siena, with plenty of free parking.

A wonderful family business spanning generations, with owners who put real heart into their work. They were exceptionally kind, welcoming, and accommodating. The view was breathtaking, and every detail felt just right. The cooking class was a standout. Highly recommended!

We stayed in the Anna room at Borgo Argenina and would gladly choose it again. It was cutely decorated, with a view of the vineyards, and the sitting room between the bedroom and another shared space made it feel quiet and private. The bathroom was clean, and we loved the bathtub. The bed was very comfortable, just the right firmness, and the pillows were great. The shared kitchen, outdoor seating, and pool area were all lovely places to relax. We especially enjoyed the pool loungers with a refreshing drink or an ice cream, which you can buy cheaply from the fridge on the property. Breakfast buffet each day and the coffee machine were highlights, and we highly recommend the cooking class. Having a car was very helpful for getting around and visiting some of the recommended places. I would only stay here in the future.
