We stopped by the town while touring North Italy. It was too early for this sleepy place, with hardly more than a few people around. We tried to get something at a café, but the owner was having her own espresso and wasn't open to serving travelers then. It was nice to see the town, but after such a long drive, it wasn't what I had hoped for.

The view was amazing, and the village is tiny and very quiet. It's a really friendly family-run guest house, but it was 38c during our stay and there was no air conditioning. The Fridge also didn't work, which made things tricky. It would be an amazing stop if the temperature is 25c or below!

Breakfast in the tower cellar was a masterpiece! The owner was kind and helpful, and the rooms were beautifully furnished and well laid out. They date back to the year 1000, with even the thinnest wall at least 1 meter thick. It's absolutely silent inside. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom had every amenity, including a fully working whirlpool tub. If you're nearby, don't miss this experience.

The staff were professional and the prices were super fair. In Chianti, this enchanting place is in one of the most unspoiled villages. The room was spotless, with a breathtaking view beyond belief. Waking up and looking out from bed at that panorama made me want to stay for hours and never leave. It's so quiet, it soothes the soul. I'd recommend it to everyone.
