We came for a family birthday and found a wonderful place, with a view from our window that was to die for. The food and wine were amazing, and the staff were super friendly. The historic castle sits in beautiful countryside, with a history stretching back century after century. It was especially nice to see wine-making still happening, among the forest, vineyards and olive groves. There are lovely places all around this area, but this one is particularly special. A paradise if you’re into food, wine, walking and history. If you want somewhere delightful and unforgettable, this is really nice.

We planned on four nights and could happily have stayed many more. The room was impeccable, and they welcomed us with their wine. Even the bathroom had a lovely view. The property itself is stunning, with beautiful scenery and a very warm team. Breakfast was a highlight each morning, especially thanks to Miss Rosanna and her greetings. We miss those.

Paloma and the Chef made our time at Castello di Tornano memorable. Paloma was kind, attentive and professional, and she handled every interaction with such ease. The Chef’s food showed real care and passion, with precise, authentic flavors and a modern touch rooted in tradition. Together they made the service and cooking feel wonderfully in sync. They’re a big part of the experience and why guests come back happily. I wholeheartedly recommend them both. They’re remarkable professionals and a real asset to Castello di Tornano.

We’d only been at the hotel for five minutes when we found out the room wasn’t what we booked. We asked for a large room with two beds, but got a small one with just one bed and a broken air conditioner. After reading so many positive reviews, this was a really unpleasant welcome.

The staff at Castello di Tornano made us feel at home, with warmth and attention to detail from the moment we arrived. Their kindness and professionalism helped make the stay unforgettable. The castle has a magical feel, surrounded by the quiet Tuscan countryside. We enjoyed the gardens, meals and exploring the area, and the views are breathtaking. A beautiful mix of history and charm. I wholeheartedly recommend it, 100% satisfaction guaranteed!
