Julia’s enthusiasm really came through during our tour and tasting. She was friendly, knew her subject, answered all our questions, and even offered to take a photo of my wife and me. We had a lovely, intimate experience that felt focused on quality rather than quantity. If you’re visiting wineries around Chianti, Le Miccine deserves a place on your list.
Federico made a great host and shared loads of useful information about Chianti Classico and Italian wine more broadly. The vineyard visit was phenomenal, and the Le Miccine Chianti Classico Gran Selezione was outstanding. You can see the focus on quality in what they offer. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a Tuscan vineyard experience.
We had a lovely tasting at Le Miccine, with the quiet patio all to ourselves. The place is beautiful and quaint, and our guide, whose name I can’t remember, was so friendly and informative. The wine was very good, and I especially liked that it was organic. We had a great time and would come back.
We came away delighted, with a few bottles too. The estate has a beautiful setting and a rustic feel that makes it stand out from other vineyards in the Chianti Valley. Ariane and Gabriel brought a lot of energy and knowledge to the tour, and the tasting was engaging and informative. The wines were all full of character and beautifully made. A really memorable visit for wine lovers.
