Dimora Moresca 1906

The owner made us feel very welcome and helped us find the best places to go. We also had a comfortable room and a delicious breakfast. A lovely spot for a relaxing stay.

Breakfast on the terrace was a highlight every day, fresh and varied, and our dog was just as welcome as we were. The peaceful setting also made it easy to drive to Gallipoli, Lecce, and other places. Dimora Moresca 1906 is a beautifully restored historic home, full of thoughtful details. Our room was spacious and very clean, with plenty of room for my wife, our dog, and me. Paola and Fabrizio greeted us so warmly from the moment we arrived, and their hospitality feels completely natural. We had a wonderful few days and will definitely return.

I had to shorten my holiday because of a health problem, but I’d love to come back and see more of Salento. Many destinations are easy to reach from here. The residence has an old-world feel alongside modern comforts, and the renovation respects local traditions. The rooms are lovely and roomy, the bathroom is comfortable, and breakfast is excellent, with plenty of variety, local produce, fruit, and delicious Salento specialties. Mr. Fabrizio and Mrs. Paola are warm and welcoming, while giving guests space.

Galatone is right in the heart of Ionian Salento, with great restaurants and pastry shops. We spent two lovely days at Dimora Moresca, in a fresh, welcoming room furnished with care and good taste, like the rest of the rooms. Paola and Fabrizio's hospitality was a real pleasure. Thanks for the memories, we'll be back soon.
