Le Cementine house Vacanze Salento

We felt at home right away thanks to Annarita and Vittorio, who were so welcoming and helpful. We had lovely chats with them, like old friends, and always got great tips on where to eat, buy local products to take home, and places to visit. The room and bathroom were bright, spotless, and smelled fresh. Each morning Annarita laid out a terrace breakfast full of delicious things she had made with care, including fresh fruit, cakes, pasticciotto, and tasty traditional biscuits. She even left taralli in our room one day, and another morning gave us a packet of delicious almond brittle to take to the beach. They looked after every guest, young and old. Highly recommended for a wonderful stay in Salento.

Getting to the terrace, which is really a roof, meant climbing lots of stairs, including a narrow staircase and utility room. The room itself was extremely small, with cramped spaces, a smelly bathroom without a bidet, and no parking. The ceiling in the photos is rough, with exposed brick, and the floor, finishes, and closet made of rough planks all felt very shoddy. The place was presented as comfortable and convenient, but courtesy came with very little substance. A terrible experience, and the photos speak for themselves.

Annarita and her husband Vittorio made us feel completely at home, pampering us throughout our stay. Each morning they served fresh, homemade local specialties on the lovely terrace, with a picturesque view across Galatone's rooftops. Their warmth is a perfect example of Salento hospitality. The B&B is in Galatone's historic center, with pharmacies and supermarkets nearby, and a good spot for reaching Salento's most beautiful beaches and others within 45 minutes. We always found parking right beneath the house. The place was clean, welcoming, and comfortable. If you want an authentic, relaxing holiday with good food, this is the place. We spent a wonderful week here. Every day our room was cleaned carefully, and the owners were consistently kind and ready to help. Breakfast on the terrace came with a panoramic view and freshly baked traditional Pasticciotto each morning. Since it's in the heart of Galatone's historic center, we could easily walk around and see the town's historic sights. I highly recommend it.
