Hotel Gaarten Benessere&Spa by Kleos Group Collection

The hotel is dated but well located, and the spa is very nice and well run by Cristina. Please don't let teenagers use it. We stayed three days as a family, and the catering was a total disaster. We waited ages for service, the food came out cold and bland, and many menu dishes weren't available. Some customers sat waiting for hours and still weren't served; people were angry, and shouting could be heard from the kitchen. Even breakfast on departure day was a complete failure. I can't give it zero stars, though I would.

The view from the hotel is beautiful, and it was lovely to relax in the spa room or eat breakfast while watching snow fall on the pine trees. The staff are friendly and professional, too. I was very pleased with the stay. I'd recommend finishing with a massage; the masseuses are great and seem to know just what you need.

The restaurant and spa are both nice, and the pool is lovely too. The staff are absolutely nice, especially with children, and the rooms are spacious and clean. For the hotel's level and price, I expected a slightly better experience overall. Still, I'll probably come back in the future.

The location is good and the restaurant is delicious, and the swimming pool is nice. But the room feels too old, the lighting is dim, and it doesn't seem worth the price. It needs redesigning. Because of COVID, only the saunas were open in the spa, with no spa or hot water. Pool time was limited to one hour per person, which wasn't enough.
