During Ferragosto week the room cost €180 for one night, which is understandable, but the hotel felt three-star and the price felt four-star. The breakfast didn’t even rate two stars. There was no fresh fruit or savory food apart from hard-boiled eggs, just a tart and an empty croissant to fill with the usual packaged jams. I think they should offer some fruit, cold cuts, and cheese at that price. Prices keep going up, so the service should improve too. As usual, people want to make a lot of money and then complain that the beach resorts and hotels are empty!

Gallipoli is beautiful at night, and this hotel is a good base for exploring southern Puglia. Public beaches are within walking distance, with lovely private beaches nearby too, including Lido Conchiglia and Padula Bianca to the north and Baia Verde to the south. There’s a pool, gym, outdoor games room beside the pool, bar, terrace, and evening meals available on request. The location is ideal, and there are plenty of amenities.
