Appartamento 5 Vele

We stayed in one of the apartments during the week of August 15th, and the price seemed reasonable for the middle of August. Ours was well designed and modern, with good quality materials, though there were signs of wear. The bathroom door was broken, the shower had no soap dish and a damaged seal, and the air conditioning worked but was dirty. The apartment has a small private parking space in the basement. Check-in and check-out instructions from the rental manager were clear and satisfactory, sent by video and WhatsApp messages. There was a strong smoke smell when we entered, probably left by the previous roommates, but airing out the rooms cleared it up. The complex has apartments owned by Suite Le Vele as well as many occupied by people who likely live there year round. The shared areas could use attention: the stairwells smelled bad, some parts of the building were damaged, and the outdoor waste collection areas were not cleaned regularly, giving them a landfill-like feel.
