The breakfast was my favorite part, with Barone cheeses, ricotta, yoghurt, milk, and homemade sweet and savory treats baked fresh each morning by Luigina. The palace has been beautifully restored, with modern decor alongside its revived floors, doors, and frescoes. The rooms are huge and carefully maintained, with all the amenities and luxury linens you’d expect from a five star hotel. The bathroom had a huge shower and lovely bath products from Portugal. There’s also a splendid spa, offering everything from facials to relaxing massages. Service was outstanding, five stars. Anna, the manager, and her staff always made us feel at home and took care of our needs. The palace is a block from the sea and a 10 minute walk from the old center. This is the best hotel in Gallipoli and the whole Salento area.
