B&B Kalypso

The owner was kind right up until he took the payment. After that he was rude and grumpy, and accused us of breaking a mirror. I asked to speak with him by phone, since he had also been in touch with my mother about the booking and payment. I paid for the damage despite feeling we weren't at fault, and he tried to dictate how I should pay. He wanted cash from the guys but got an instant transfer instead, a traceable payment must be inconvenient for him. There's a tiny dent in one of the room mirrors, so small you wouldn't spot it even with a magnifying glass unless you already knew it was there. Maybe they know about it and make money from it. Check the mirror on the desk, and be careful. I wonder how many people before me got caught by this, and hope I'm the last. Whether or not a damage fee is owed, basic manners call for at least a thank you. The guys were polite. Teach children to be respectful. Last year they went on holiday again in Baia Verde at another place, luckily not his. There were six of them. He complained there were four, but I would have paid for one. They were praised for their respect, manners, and the cleanliness they left behind. And don't bring up the unspeakable again, saying we're unworthy of the Lord or Eternal Father, as you call him. May the Lord bless him.

A horrible stay. The owner was rude and unprofessional, the beds were uncomfortable, it was expensive, and breakfast was at a shabby bar.

The staff were excellent, friendly, and very helpful, including when we were making the reservation.

The place was clean, and the knowledgeable staff were always available. Great value for money!
