G-Home Gallipoli rooms and suite

Mr. Michele was very kind and helpful. He let us know the room was ready a little early and welcomed us with coffee pods, bottled water and passes for breakfast at a nearby café. We're staying here now in a cozy room with a modern feel. It's a very tiny apartment, with a kitchenette, bathroom and bedroom, plus a little indoor terrace for drying laundry. The location is practically perfect, about a 2-minute walk from Gallipoli's shopping district.

The beds were comfortable, the spaces were well arranged, and everything worked out perfectly. Gallipoli is beautiful, and staying in the center let us enjoy walks without the stress of driving. I'd definitely return. The two-room apartment was bright, with air conditioning in both rooms and a large, nice shower. Breakfast at a bar 30 meters away had a wide choice of pastries. Online check-in and phone access were handy, and the host was very kind and available for requests. We have children and asked for an extra change of bed and bath linen, which was provided promptly. There were a few coffee pods for the first day; after that, we bought more at the nearby supermarket. The property is practically on Gallipoli's main street. There's no dedicated parking, but we always found free spaces nearby, at most 200 meters away in the “free” train station parking lot.

The room was renovated, but still very small. I only found out that the room wouldn't be cleaned and the linens wouldn't be changed for stays of 7 days or less, apparently due to COVID, after I arrived. That wasn't stated clearly, and if I'd known, I wouldn't have booked. The host should have been more upfront. Not recommended.

The room was pleasant and reasonably clean, but very small. The bathroom window looks into a sort of room where the supposed breakfast is served. We couldn't even heat milk or tea, which was absurd. And the first thing they told us on arrival wasn't welcome, it was that we had to pay the tourist tax!
