Whenever I’m in the area, I look forward to eating here. The food is delicious and really feels like home, and the dining room is beautiful and kept in meticulous shape. The owner and her daughter are incredibly kind and helpful. I’m baffled by the negative reviews, honestly. Hmm.

Right on the main square in Santo Stefano di Cadore, it’s a handy stop for motorcyclists heading toward Sappada, Passo Monte Croce di Comelico, or Auronzo. You can get breakfast or a quick bite at the bar, or have a traditional lunch in the restaurant.

It’s a family restaurant serving straightforward, authentic food. I especially liked the vegetable sides, and the first courses are excellent. The strudel was amazing.

Francesca gave us great hiking suggestions, thanks again! The family team were lovely, and the service was warm and attentive. The hotel and restaurant were beautiful and impeccably clean. Our room was spacious and quiet, with comfortable bedding. At the restaurant, the regional dishes were excellent, and breakfast had plenty of variety and superb homemade cakes. 😘
