The smell made the room unbearable. The walls and curtains were dirty and marked, the floor was dirty too, and parts of the bathroom and shower were filthy. There wasn’t a face towel. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable, its back was dusty, and it always felt wet from the damp. Breakfast was very basic, with little to choose from and no buffet. It also didn’t match the photo on the B&B website. Service was awful. When we asked the cleaning lady for an extra croissant 🥐, we argued and she told us to go to hell. We were extremely offended. It was a horrible stay.

Rossana was wonderful, always around, sweet, helpful, and professional. I stayed at this B&B with my six-year-old son, and was surprised that someone still comes each morning to tidy the rooms. The location is strategic, very close to the center and Gallipoli’s historic area.

Breakfast is served up on the terrace, and Gallipoli’s center is about a 15-minute walk away. The rooms are comfortable and nicely furnished. Staff are available if you have questions or want suggestions.

We got in during the evening after booking a last-minute deal, and were welcomed so warmly. Meeting the people who run the place the next morning was a pleasure too. Everything was clean, tidy, and so well looked after, with no detail overlooked. One night felt far too short, so we’ll definitely come back soon. Highly recommended!
