The restaurant staff were excellent with food intolerances. I have gluten and histamine intolerances, which can be complicated, but Maitrê Alessandro Isaia was attentive and helpful and always found some gluten-free options.

Joli Park was easy to get to and clean and comfortable, even if it isn't one of the city's newer hotels. There was plenty of street parking around it, both free and paid, and it was a good base for exploring the old and new town. Our room was large, with a good-sized bathroom. The front desk staff were great, and breakfast was decent, though very Italian, with cakes and croissants 😉

They cancelled our reservation and gave no explanation. I called three times. On the first call, they said they didn't speak English and hung up. On the second, after redirecting me to people who were supposed to speak English, the same thing happened. On my third attempt, they started to explain the cancellation, but hung up when I asked whether I could book and if they had availability. Avoid at all costs. It ruined our holiday because we had to find somewhere else when not many hotels were available.

We turned up quite late without a reservation, and they were really kind in welcoming both us and our bicycle. Good atmosphere and good vibes. I'd recommend this place to anyone travelling by bicycle.

From the fifth floor, the balcony looked out over the main shopping street toward the old town and the sea. The room was clean and spacious, and the hotel was nice.
