The staff were friendly, helpful, and professional, and the location is excellent for exploring the old town. The room was clean and basic, fine for a shower and sleep, but not somewhere I’d want to spend free time. There was plenty of hot water, though the shower stall leaked. Breakfast was minimal, and my americano came from instant coffee. The weather was so bad that I didn’t walk to a coffee shop for proper Italian coffee and a fresh croissant. The room was okay for what I needed, but this definitely isn’t a four-star hotel.

The panoramic terrace was a real highlight, with a spectacular sunset over the Gallipoli sea each evening. It was peaceful and beautiful enough to make the stay worthwhile on its own. The location also works well, close to the historic center, the seafront, and pedestrian streets with shops and restaurants. A shuttle to several partner beach clubs was convenient and well organized. Breakfast was varied and good quality, with attentive service that made mornings feel relaxed. The reception team were courteous and professional from arrival, always friendly, available, and ready to help. I also appreciated the comfort and genuine hospitality throughout. I’d highly recommend Hotel Fly to anyone visiting Gallipoli.

The reception team were kind and helpful, and the hotel is right in the center. Parking was a different story. We paid €20 per night, or €100 for five days, and still had to pay the fine ourselves. The hotel parking attendant had given us a ticket, but then never showed up, and the attendant got upset when I complained, especially to the traffic police. The hotel itself is okay, but that parking charge, plus paying the fine ourselves, was absolutely not okay.

This was my third work stay here. It’s modern, clean, and quiet, and the staff are genuinely friendly. There’s also a garage with valet parking if that suits your needs. TOP!
