Les Suites de Lulu

We booked at the last minute the night before, and what a lovely surprise. Our balcony room had a wonderful view. Ilenia was kind and courteous, and even though it was late, she took time to point out places to see around the city. There was prosecco waiting in the room, plus free herbal teas, hot chocolate, coffee and more, the sort of extras you’d expect at a five-star hotel. The breakfast was fantastic: tarts, biscuits, pasticciotto leccese, cured meats, cheeses and omelettes made fresh if you asked. There were plenty of gluten-free choices too, which was great for me as I’m gluten-intolerant. The bathrobes, towels and other linen were by Frette, and the bathroom products were by Hermes. The B&B is very central, a short walk from the historic center, with reserved parking right below the building. We also got two free tickets to the beautiful castle and, because of the weather, two complimentary umbrellas. We’ve never stayed in a B&B with so many amenities worthy of a luxury hotel. I’d have booked a few more nights if I could. We’ll definitely return. Well done!
