M&F Hotel

The staff were great, and breakfast was pretty decent. I wasn't keen on the location, and parking was a real pain. We drove about ten minutes south to the beach each day, and those beaches were among the best I've been to. The old town is a bit of a trek, and the area felt like an odd spot with teenagers everywhere.

The water pipe was leaking and completely out of order when we checked into the hotel. Room maintenance is very poor. Getting the problem fixed took two hours of my vacation, and having a newborn with me made the whole thing really uncomfortable. The hotel staff did not

We spent about a week here and were very comfortable in the suite, which had basic cooking facilities and gave us more flexibility. The pool on the roof was a relaxing spot with lovely views, and the nearby sea is only 50 meters away, with beaches close by. Getting back to the old town on foot takes around 30 minutes along a beautiful promenade, so we rented bikes, which was very convenient. The staff, including the cleaners, were pleasant. Breakfast was a little better than we'd expected. One small annoyance: the cupboard handles were oddly designed and hard to open.

The pool is small, but it's a nice place to have a spritz in the evening. The hotel is lovely and the location is pretty, though the walk to the center is quite long. Breakfast was okay and the staff were friendly. Calling the balcony a sea view was a stretch, so I wouldn't pay extra for it.
