Masseria Macchiaforte

We spent part of our honeymoon here and felt so welcome. The team looked after us wonderfully, and both the grounds and our room were beautiful and well cared for. Breakfast was delicious, especially the croissants and other baked goods the chef made fresh each day. I’d happily recommend a stay here in Gallipoli, and we’ll be back next time. Thanks to the whole team for making our visit so special.

What really made this stay stand out was the staff. Everyone seemed happy to be there, and they were a joy to spend time around. We were welcomed with so much warmth from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was wonderful, our room, il sole, was beautiful, and the grounds were lovely. There was also a free shuttle bus to the beach club. A very special stay, highly recommend.

The private beach and transfers whenever we needed them made the stay even better. The Masseria itself is beautiful, with high-quality furnishings and finishes, and the hosts were always friendly and helpful. We had a fantastic time in July and enjoyed breakfast each morning. I can’t say enough good things about our visit, highly recommend.

The staff were so caring and easy to talk to that it felt like staying with family. Our room was spacious and beautifully designed, with a huge terrace, a private plunge pool, and endless sunset views. The Masseria is truly special, and words and photos don’t quite capture it. We also loved the beach and the arrangement with a lovely local beach club. It’s four minutes away by car, and the Masseria takes you there and picks you up, which saves you dealing with the messy parking. We’ll be back many, many times.
