Palazzo Mosco

The rooms were super clean, and we felt so well looked after by everyone at Palazzo Mosco Inn. Agatha made beautiful breakfasts, Agnes kept on top of the customer experience, and Alexandra was friendly and full of great suggestions. Two dark-haired front-of-house staff members whose names we didn’t catch were always helpful and friendly, too. We had a jacuzzi on the rooftop one overcast morning, and the hotel was conveniently close to the beach. For budget food, we’d suggest Al 123 for pizza and polpo sandwiches, and Primavera deli for a bottle of wine. Agatha was a good spot for a meal, as was Gnomi in the new town. There’s also a corner cafe with “grotto” in its name, where you should try the Crema Plomber ice cream. Thanks again to the Palazzo Mosco Inn staff for such a lovely stay x

Maria, the manager, made the stay special. She was kind, funny, genuine, and so friendly, with great ideas for things to see, places to go, and food to try. She was one of the nicest people I met in Italy. I came with two friends, and we had an amazing time. The rooms were beautiful and generously sized, with high ceilings, comfortable beds, reliable internet, nice linens, louvred doors, flowers in the windows, a safe, and a closet for hanging things. Mine also had a desk. I only wished there were a couple more lights. A nice breeze came through the rooms, too. Breakfast was served each morning on a lovely roof deck, with cappuccino, espresso, bread, jams, yogurt, fruit, Italian pastries, cookies, and cereal. It was a great spread. I loved this inn and would highly recommend it.

Having breakfast on the upper terrace on a sunny day, looking out over Gallipoli, was priceless. The service was impeccable and very friendly, and the boutique hotel is comfortable, attractive, and very well located in Gallipoli’s old center.
