Palazzo Senape De Pace

Quiet, clean, with friendly people and a lovely terrace to unwind on. Every morning at breakfast, we were greeted with a smile and a happy vibe. I’d recommend this place 100%, it was exactly what we were looking for.

The staff were friendly and helpful without hovering, and the place was excellent value. The accommodations were comfortable and kept immaculately clean. The architecture is gorgeous, with stunning views, and it sits close to dozens of restaurants, bars, shops, churches, and Spiaggia della Purità. This palazzo and city stole my heart with the local food and magnificent climate, too. The Centro Storico is mostly pedestrian, with beautiful crooked cobblestone streets that are too narrow for many vehicles, so keep that in mind if you don’t want to walk. Also, if you don’t know any Italian, it would benefit you VERY MUCH to learn some before visiting the area. Don’t expect locals to speak English as well as they might in more touristy parts of northern Italy or in other countries. Getting past the language barrier makes for a more enjoyable trip. I hope to return someday, and I’d definitely stay here again.

The staff were fantastic, friendly, attentive, and ready to accommodate every request. The building is wonderful, the beach is close, and despite being right in the town center, it’s incredibly quiet. The location is fantastic. I stayed here the second week of July. I always carefully compare places and weigh their pros and cons before choosing, and this one seemed the best. Even though I already knew where I’d end up, it exceeded my expectations by far.
