There was chaos at all hours, with kids screaming, singing, and playing loud music, and things kept falling from windows and balconies, including cigarette butts, ash, pillows, and mattresses. The place felt badly run and poorly organized, and I wouldn’t return or recommend it. On our first night at 9:30 PM, staff called and asked us to move the armchair from our room to another apartment. They sent a young man barely over 18 by himself. My partner felt sorry for him and helped move a dresser and the chair off the balcony. Luckily, we were on the ground floor. The apartment was poorly maintained. All the furnishings, including the kitchen, smelled of mold, so we had to leave the closets open to stop our clothes taking on the smell. It also wasn’t as close to the sea as advertised. We got the apartment at 5:30 PM on the first day, but were expected to leave before 10 AM on the last, which already cost me a day. Under the staff’s apparent “kindness,” there seemed to be a constant search for ways to make extra money. They charge the tourist tax at check-in, and after I asked several times, they eventually admitted they’d added an extra percentage to it. The bedspread was filthy, burned, cut, and worn, and seemed to move on its own. There were three inches of dust under the mattress and hair all over it. The kitchenette didn’t work, so lighting the stove required a lighter, with a risk of burning yourself. The sofa was so dirty we only put our bags on it. A proper shower was impossible because the water was either boiling hot or, with the slightest adjustment, freezing.

The staff were courteous, kind, and helpful throughout our stay. I recently came back from Gallipoli, where I stayed in a two-room apartment at this property. The apartment was spotless, well maintained, and had all the comforts we needed, plus plenty of private parking. The location is excellent, just steps from Baia Verde’s most beautiful beaches.

A pleasant apartment rental for a family holiday in June or July. August gets too noisy, with young people not respecting everyone else’s peace and quiet.

Baia verde is a wonderful place, and this apartment was so tidy and well organized. We ran out of gas, but they sorted it all out within half an hour. We’re happy with our stay. It was worth traveling more than 1,000 km. Well done!
