Pretty good.

Mr. Maurizio was very friendly and kind. I slept comfortably on the memory foam mattress, which could be especially helpful for people with back problems. The residence is modern and attractive, with an electric gate and parking. It’s about an 8-minute drive to the city center. My room was large and had a refrigerator and TV, and the bathroom had a nice modern shower. If I come back to Gallipoli, I’ll stay here again to be on the safe side. I’d rate it 8.5.

The owner and staff were so helpful, and the place was clean and fully equipped. I’d give it 10 stars if I could, not just 3. I’d encourage anyone to stay here. If we’re back in Gallipoli or nearby, we’ll book with you again.

The room was clean, the bedding very comfortable, and the small private terrace was nice. Secure private parking was another plus. The manager was responsive, kind, and even lent us a brand new beach umbrella. Still, for the price, the problems we ran into left us very disappointed 😡 At check-in, the bedside lamp had a broken plug. I asked about it and they replaced it. Later, when I went to shower, I found that a shower door had been replaced by a curtain that was about 20 cm too short. Water went everywhere and ran into the bedroom along the tile grout. The manager said the door had broken the day before and they hadn’t been able to replace it, but promised a longer curtain the next day. Instead, the door was repaired, but it was still about 2 cm too short to close properly. The seals between the glass screen and floor were faulty as well, so water pooled in the room again. On the day we left, the water stopped while we were showering with shampoo in our hair. It came back, then cut out again four times in a row, with 10-minute gaps between outages. We told the manager, who apologized for all the trouble, but it was a lot to deal with given the price. I would have given 5 stars if we hadn’t had these issues, some of which were only partly resolved ☹️
