Salapolis Luxury Apartments

Thanks to Scott, Francesco, and all the other service-room friends, I had a relaxing week. Staying in the Salapolis and madrepora red apartment was a unique part of my summer break in Gallipoli. It’s in the old city center, and its intriguing style feels like a journey between modern and classical times. Scott’s homemade decorations give the apartment a distinctive personality.

We booked three nights to explore Gallipoli, the old town, and the surrounding area. Scott was easy to contact throughout our stay and always available with information or recommendations. We were warmly welcomed and enjoyed the whole visit. The apartment and building are in very good condition, comfortable, and charming. Breakfast on the roof was nice, too.

We stayed a full month, and the apartment felt like home. It was clean and lovely, with colorful touches, luxurious bed linens, and towels. It’s only a few minutes’ walk from the beach and close to all the old town dining. Scott, the host, was helpful, attentive, and kind, with inside knowledge of Gallipoli’s culture and other parts of Italy. Francesco and his family were there every day, and we really appreciated their service and help.

The only drawback was the limited privacy, since the bathrooms connect directly to the bedrooms. Otherwise, the apartments are spacious, fully equipped, and have comfortable beds. The interior is artistic and beautiful, the location is perfect in the heart of Gallipoli, and the owner was always available and provided outstanding service. The terrace is amazing.
