Antico Borgo

We had such good conversations with people from all over the world, and the peaceful atmosphere made Andreas place feel like home. The town is beautiful, full of old buildings and churches, and the location itself is stunning. Breakfast was authentic, and the wine was delicious. Our clean room had calming views from both sides and a comfortable bed. We’ll definitely come back!

We had a great time here and would definitely recommend it. The rooms were always warm and clean, and Andrea was a wonderful host. He was ready for a good chat and very generous with the wine, sometimes pouring us a glass or several. Thank you so much, Andrea, for looking after us so thoughtfully!

Andrea, the property manager, was fantastic, so friendly, helpful, and generous with the delicious wine his family makes. Antico Borgo has a quaint, authentic feel and sits tucked into the hills, just a few minutes' walk above Galtelli town center. There are little bars and restaurants there, plus a good grocery store. The town was fun, and we had a great time. I picked the area partly for the short drive to the Gulf of Orosei and the Cala Luna hike trailhead. Our room had plenty of space and storage, including a large wardrobe. The bathroom and shower were quite good, some toiletries were included, the A/C was decent, and there was a small TV and a handy refrigerator in the room. Rooms sit around a lovely courtyard with a secure entrance. Free street parking is nearby, though a small car was useful for getting through the narrow lanes. Free WiFi was available, but mostly worked in the courtyard. Great value for the price, and we had a lovely stay. I hope we can return someday!

We loved the room and the hotel had such a great vibe. The staff were really nice, and Andrea, thank you for everything. The location is amazing, close to some of Sardinia’s best hikes. We had an amazing stay 😌
