agriturismo e maneggio Poggio Leone

We had a fantastic week at Poggio Leone with our two daughters. Breakfast each morning was a pleasure, and the accommodation was just right, with a superb view. The girls also loved the riding lessons and tours, and their guide was really great. We used the car transfer from Florence and back to Castelfiorentino too, which was very convenient.

Patrizia, Christian, and their children made Agriturismo e Maneggio Poggio Leone feel like a lovely place to live for a week. We stayed in one of the glamping huts as a small family in October. The cottage had everything we needed, including air conditioning and heating for warmer days and cold nights. Our daughter loved the rides, and we felt she was in good hands. It was great to see the agriturismo's horses well cared for and with plenty of room outdoors. The area is lovely for walking and cycling, and Gambessi Terme and Montaione make good outings, with all the infrastructure you need. We’re very happy to come back. Thanks to the team for a great holiday!

The Tuscan hills and the well-cared-for, well-trained horses made this an unforgettable ride. We came as a family of four for a one-hour horseback session, with kids aged 5 and 10. Christian and Lisa were patient and kind, and quickly helped our nervous 5-year-old feel at ease. I hardly ever write reviews, but this experience really moved me to leave one. You won’t regret it.

Patrizia and Cristian made our family feel so welcome and were very accommodating. Our young boys had a great time riding and meeting all the animals. We couldn’t recommend staying here more highly.
