La Torre sulla via Francigena

We stayed for three days on our honeymoon and would gladly have stayed longer. The rooms were the best we’ve stayed in, with quality and attention to detail that really stood out. We spent plenty of time unwinding by the pool in the Tuscan sun. The setting is gorgeous, with fields and vineyards all around. Angus and the rest of the staff did everything they could for us, and Tux and Fin, the dogs, were so well behaved that they took us along on their morning walks. I’d happily return every year. Thanks for making our honeymoon even more incredible.

Angus and Scott made us feel welcome throughout our stay and were a huge help arranging dinners, events, and activities for our group. We were there for a beautifully organized three-day wedding party at the property, with more than 50 guests. It’s a charming boutique bed and breakfast on a working vineyard in the heart of Tuscany. The rooms are luxurious, the grounds are beautifully appointed, and there are plenty of comfortable spots to sit and catch up with friends. There’s also a gourmet kitchen and coffee bar that seemed to turn out endless tasty meals and snacks. Highly recommended.

The pool is gorgeous and so well maintained, and we couldn’t get enough of the homemade red and rose wine. We had lovely food at the vineyard, which set us up perfectly for the day. Nothing seemed like too much trouble, and all the staff were so nice. They made us feel at home from arrival to departure, and we really appreciated the care they put into making our stay comfortable. We stayed at La Torre during our Italian honeymoon road trip, and it’s the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in. Angus is at the heart of it, along with Tux and Fin. The grounds, vineyard views, and surrounding walks are beautiful. The rooms are absolutely lovely, with handmade touches, stunning mosaïques and furniture, and the same high standard whichever room you choose. We’d come back every year if we could. Breakfast each morning was excellent, with a buffet and a small menu for fresh egg dishes and pancakes. We also enjoyed the occasional homemade pizza dinner and outdoor movie night. The rooms are modern and comfortable, and outside there’s a peaceful setting and a salt-water pool. Angus, Scott, and their lovely staff gave us a great stay, with thoughtful details and personal suggestions for restaurants and things to do nearby. Vineyards and olive trees surround this quiet getaway. We can’t wait to return, and have already told friends and family about this unique find. Thanks, Angus and Scott!
