La Vittoria

We loved the breathtaking lake view from our room terrace, both day and night, and the location right on the Lago di Garda lakefront in Garda town is perfect. La Vittoria is a superb family-run boutique hotel, and it was faultless throughout, thanks in large part to the first-class staff. Our beautiful room was cleaned spotless every day. Breakfast was outstanding, especially sitting outside looking out at the lake. We also loved seeing Scooby, the friendly, beautiful Jack Russell, in reception each day. We hope to come back and can't thank the staff enough for making our holiday so special. Highly recommended for a stay in Garda. Best wishes from Derry, Ireland.

We really enjoyed staying here on our bike trip. Giulia at reception was extremely helpful and courteous, and she spoke fluent German. Breakfast was extraordinary, and the rest of the staff were kind and helpful too. We also enjoyed the complimentary welcome aperitif and the great lake views from our room. I can only recommend this hotel.

The lakeside setting is lovely, and having shops and restaurants right across from the hotel made everything easy. We enjoyed the food, room, view, service, staff, and cleanliness, and would happily return. Parking was the one hassle: there’s none at the hotel, so we left the car across the road and had to carry our suitcases over.

The restaurant alone is worth a visit, even if you aren’t staying here. We loved the seafood choices and wine. I came on my own with two dogs, and it worked out perfectly for us. The staff were lovely, our room was clean and cosy, and the view over Lake Garda was beautiful. I’d come back for sure.
