We had a big, well appointed room with a lovely view of the lake, and the breakfast was ridiculously amazing. The owners were warm and welcoming. It’s a beautiful old place with extensive grounds, and the best hotel we’ve stayed at. Perfect.

The price was reasonable, and breakfast was sublime. I stayed a few months ago, and they put us in what I’d call a family room, made up of two connecting double bedrooms. It’s tucked away from the busier parts of the lake, with lovely attention to detail and a peaceful feel at any hour. An exceptional place for relaxing.

The owners were kind and very helpful, and gave us useful tips about nearby places. We had a lovely stay in a large, bright, clean room with a private bathroom. Breakfast was plentiful and varied, and the place has an old-world feel. The one downside is getting there: the B&B is reached by a narrow dirt road, and there aren’t many signs pointing the way. I hope to come back.
