The apartment was spacious, clean, and nicely furnished. Still, the place didn’t live up to what it advertised. There was no pool, and what should have been reception was just a pile of rubble in front of the door. The outdoor area was a building site, and the fridge didn’t work. They charged 50 euros for towels and linen, and there wasn’t even hand soap for washing up after travelling. It’s not close enough to walk to the supermarket or lake, so bring a car if you stay here.

The staff were very friendly, spoke several languages, and made the place feel personal. After a drink from the extensive bar, you can relax by the pool overlooking Lake Garda. Breakfast is a buffet with a good choice of local foods, and the evening meal is similar, followed by three courses you choose from the menu. The restaurant is separate from the hotel, but there’s a little bridge from the second floor, which is a fun touch. It’s a lovely small hotel, perhaps no more than 30 rooms, with a Mediterranean feel. The rooms have everything you need for a short break or a longer stay. I highly recommend it and plan to return next year for a longer visit.

It’s a bit of a walk to the lake, but we really enjoyed staying here. The staff were lovely and the food was amazing. I miss being there so much.
