The location is very nice, with a huge private garden, a cozy terrace, and spacious rooms. The pool is just okay and needs renovation, but it does what it's meant to do.

The house is nicely located, but the description was unclear or wrong: the apartment called ground floor is actually in the basement. With the windows closed it smells musty straight away, and there is mold on the kitchen ceiling and the outside wall down at floor level. The rental agency didn't seem to care. They asked four times what time we'd arrive. The time was then pushed back twice, and when we finally agreed on a time, nobody was there. There was no handover or explanation. The house has a basement and a ground floor and is probably from the 1970s. Very little has been renovated apart from the basement bathroom. Most of the furniture appears to be from when the house was built, and some needs repair, especially the sun loungers, which didn't have cushions. A new kitchenette has been fitted in the basement. For the condition of the place, it costs far too much. I can't recommend it.

The hillside setting gives Villa Leda a gorgeous lake view from the terrace, and the pool is lovely for a refreshing swim. It’s peaceful here, just a little away from the bustle but still close to Garda’s center. We’re already planning to come back, and we’ll be glad to see Matti, the friendly housekeeper, again. One thing to keep in mind: the walk into town is steep, so it may be hard for older guests or anyone with mobility issues. The drive up also needs care if your car has low clearance.

There’s plenty of room across the grounds, and the large pool has two levels. We also had a barbecue, washing machine, and private parking. The property has two apartments; the ground-floor one is less flashy and smaller than the other, but still impressively spacious. The location is excellent. Mosquitoes were a nuisance, though, and made it hard to enjoy the outdoor areas. Recommended!

The view across Lake Garda is lovely, and the apartment itself is beautiful. Opening a door makes the windows rattle, which was the main drawback for me. There’s also no outside lighting.
