Hotel Bella Riva

We had a perfect short break at this lovely little hotel by Lake Garda. The views were fabulous, the beds very comfortable, and the bathrooms well equipped. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was excellent. There’s free parking, and the pool area is great, with lots of sun beds, soft grass underfoot, and a wonderful view.

Hotel Bella Riva has a lovely mix of charm, sophistication, and a bit of eclectic flair. It’s just steps from the lake in a beautiful location. The staff were really friendly and knew their stuff, and we especially enjoyed renting their e bikes. We had an incredible stay and can’t wait to come back.

This was my second stay at BellaRiva, and again it felt personal and special. I was struck on my first visit by the elegant design. It’s a refined, contemporary take on Italian Riviera style, rather than the heavy old-school luxury you often find in Italy. The international team welcomed us warmly and spoke several languages with ease. The bar on the left has a beautiful view, and the stylish lounge sofas make it feel like your own living room. Outside, the terrace and patio have high chairs overlooking the shimmering lake, a nice place for a drink or a quiet smoke. The chic pool sits behind the hotel among carefully planted greenery, and it never felt crowded. There’s room for everyone to have some privacy. You can also swim straight in Lake Garda, with access through the hotel’s own little private port. Our room was quiet and relaxing, with two balconies facing the lake and a view over the restaurant below. Sitting out there in a chair and watching the water was perfect. Inside, it was spacious and comfortable, with a huge bathroom and beautiful bathtub, a king-size bed, crisp soft linens, and thoughtful touches that kept it inviting rather than cold. The highlight this time was a private group dinner put together and presented by hotel director Marco. He was warm and welcoming, and brought an international touch to the evening. The menu mixed Italian traditions with Sardinian inspiration and modern reinterpretations. Every dish was carefully planned and beautifully done, an unforgettable meal. Breakfast the next morning was just as lovely, with homemade pastries and fresh options. The staff were kind, attentive, and accommodating, and even allowed a late checkout without hesitation. BellaRiva brings together elegance, privacy, and warmth in a very personal way. I’ll always look forward to returning to Lake Garda.

The rooms are modern and gorgeous, with lake views, and the bed was comfortable. Parking was easy, the pool was at a perfect temperature, and the food was fantastic. Everyone was so nice and the service impeccable. It’s the most beautiful hotel, right on the lake. I can’t recommend it highly enough.
