We came as a couple from Milan and stayed for two nights. The owner was so kind and let us into our room before check-in since it was already available. The main attractions are only a few minutes away on foot, so we didn't need the car, and we'll definitely return. The building sits among a huge amount of greenery and has everything you need: a pool, solarium, and a large living room with a reading area, TV, and drink vending machine. Our room was beautifully furnished, with a little flower-filled terrace overlooking a small park-like garden. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we had air conditioning, Netflix, and the other amenities. I'd highly recommend it if you want to relax. 👍

What an enchanting place, with a spectacular view. The apartment has been fully renovated and has all the comforts. We were greeted by a very kind, helpful woman. We'll definitely come back. Recommended 😙

The housekeeper greeted us warmly and was attentive, and the place was clean and fairly close to the lake. But that's about where the positives end. Our room had no lake view, and the terrace in the photos is actually on the sixth-floor roof of the neighboring building. We expected a small apartment building at a price that would have made sense for that. Instead, it's a huge mass-market complex with cramped rooms and very little comfort, a 1960s prefabricated building with faded Neckermann charm that shows its age. The rest leaves a lot to be desired unless it were offered at Neckermann prices from the 1960s.

The apartment's view is worth it, at least from the top floor, and the off-season was quiet. The rest was in poor condition: dated 1960s furniture, cheap and badly made single-glazed windows, and a really poorly done electrical system. Those C6A circuit breakers... I could write another novel about them. The price is far too high off-season and exorbitant in high season. €1,500 for such a cheap one-bedroom apartment is completely unreasonable.

You can't go inside Villa Alba, though it often hosts weddings, conferences, and other events. It's a little gem along the western Gardesana road near Gardone Riviera. You can park in the large lot at the neighboring residence and walk around the villa's extensive grounds, with their several panoramic lake views.
