Hotel I Diamanti

The room was a decent size, around 22 square metres including the bathroom, with a comfortable bed and a desk big enough to work at. The shower was clean, with no mold, which was a real plus. My complaints were the broken safe, which was old and too small for even an A5 sheet, and the noise from the neighboring room's toilet flushing. I’d put I Diamanti at around two or three stars. It’s aged, but not run down, and the large lobby looks nice. The young woman at reception was very friendly and spoke good English, but I only saw her that once during my three-day stay. The rest of the time, service came from older gentlemen who were politely distant. Breakfast was the usual countryside Italian spread, with lots of sweet food and very little ham and cheese. There was a bigger selection of sweets than at other countryside hotels I know. Most guests seemed to be service technicians or fitters.

The room was spacious and warm, with a huge wardrobe and a little luggage area tucked behind the main door. There was a good-sized Büro and the internet connection was excellent, so it was easy to work. The bed was really comfortable, the pillows let me sleep well, and the bathroom had everything I needed. No carpet, just laminate flooring. The welcome was lovely too. The man who greeted me was discreet, helpful, and very distinguished, with a kind of politeness that's refreshing these days. The entrance feels inviting, and there’s a side bar on the right with lots of drinks available. I loved the vintage Deco, it has a certain je ne sais pas quoi. For me, this is the best option in town.

The breakfast was really good, with fresh food and juices. Staff were nice, and the place suited us well since it’s quite close to the supermoto track in Ottobiano.
