Apartment Don Giuliano Centro

Andrea was a really good host. The apartment is small but has everything you need, and we were very comfortable there for a lovely few days in Lecce.

The baby is gorgeous, charming and comfortable, with cosy furnishings, all the amenities and a great location close to the center. Andrea was a wonderful host, discreet but affectionate. Thank you!

Andrea was quick to reply and incredibly kind when I had to find a place at short notice after an unexpected event. Even though I got in touch late in the evening, he was available and flexible about check-in. The apartment was small but matched the photos, and felt even more welcoming in person. It worked very well for my short stay. The bathroom had the essentials, including a hairdryer and various detergents rather than the usual disposable ones. In the kitchen there were dishes, salt, oil and what I needed to make something quickly, plus herbal teas and coffee. The bed felt a little soft to me, though that's just my personal preference. The historic center is naturally a bit noisier than the outskirts, but it wasn't excessive and didn't bother me. Closing the windows would help if needed. In the morning, there was even a film set outside the apartment with Beppe Fiorello. Parking nearby can be tricky if you expect to leave the car right at the door, but ask Andrea and he'll point you to the nearest free lot, about a nine-minute walk away. It was a pleasant walk through charming Lecce. There's a traditional restaurant just steps away for lunch, or Just Eat if you don't feel like going out.

A lovely little studio and good value for a visit to Lecce. The one downside was the front door's sound insulation: you can clearly hear people chatting and walking in the street.
