Mr. Marco welcomed us and showed us around our clean, well-managed two-room apartment, which was comfortable enough for a few days with the family. The property is beautiful and very quiet. Its gardens are a lovely place for breakfast or a peaceful meal. The main drawback was the many flies in the area. The drive to the sea, whether heading to Alassio or Albenga, takes only a few minutes. We all had a wonderful weekend!

The apartments are elegant and comfortable. This is a high-quality place to stay, well situated in the Garlenda area, almost at the border with Casanova Lerrone. With the Ligurian Riviera's mild climate, good sun exposure, and shelter from the wind, it's suitable for holiday rentals in any season.

I booked through Booking.com, but when I arrived nobody answered the doorbell. A neighbor said she knew the place was closed and kindly found the owner's private number for me. He was disappointed and said he'd repeatedly asked Booking.com to remove the listing, but people were still being sent there. The apartments had been sold, so he could no longer rent them. Booking.com was terrible to deal with. They told me to wait half an hour while they looked for a solution, but after three hours there was still nothing. Fortunately, the owners of a pizzeria found us somewhere temporary to stay for the night. Be careful: don't book. The place is closed, but Booking.com is still letting people reserve it.

The apartment was spotless, new, and fully equipped, and Mr. Marco was kind and helpful. A great way to begin 2017, with nature all around and seaside walks only a 10-minute drive away. He sets a fine example of how to prepare an apartment for vacation guests or a weekend stay.
