Hotel Abbondanza

The rooms were a good size, pleasant, and had what we needed, including balconies with drying racks. The location is excellent, just steps from the sea and nearby beach. The cleaning lady was kind, polite, and smiling every morning, wishing us a good day. Front desk and other staff were friendly and cheerful, and the owners were genuinely courteous. Unfortunately, two restaurant staff members were the exception. In my humble opinion, if they're tired of waiting tables, they should change jobs. It's a shame, because everything else was impeccable and we would gladly have returned. Still, we recommend the property for a pleasant stay.

After a wasted week in Paestum, we found ourselves in a little paradise of kindness, cleanliness, and hospitality in Gatteo a Mare in Romagna. Nicolò welcomed us with cheer and was kind, polite, smart, and helpful. Dana in the dining room was elegant and always ready to meet guests' needs. Dorina took excellent, precise care of the rooms, and Cristina was capable and warm-hearted. Five stars for hospitality, cleanliness, location, and services. The food could use a little updating, though four stars is fair. The shower stall needs replacing. Recommended, and see you soon 😘

For about ten years, I've stayed with the Abbondanza family whenever I come to Gatteo Mare. They and all their staff are fantastic, friendly, and kind, and they make you feel at home. Everything is carefully looked after and spotless, and the cleanliness is extraordinary. The food is fresh, excellent, plentiful, and never repetitive. Congratulations!

Dorina was meticulous and very good at room service, and Cristina was capable and warm-hearted. The place is very clean and the location is excellent.
