The restaurant is a big reason this hotel stays busy, and booking well ahead seems necessary. The food is high quality and really good, with excellent value for the price. It's right by the sea, and the cleanliness is meticulous. Staff are courteous and welcoming, while the owner, Mrs. Carmen, makes a real effort to keep guests comfortable. The service feels like what you'd expect from a four-star hotel, although this is a three-star one. Highly recommend it.

The atmosphere was pleasant, and the waiters and cleaning staff worked hard to make me comfortable. Still, I found they gave groups more attention than individual guests. The food wasn't great, and the place could use some modernization. I'd recommend it with those reservations. I stayed eight days and had asked for a double room for single occupancy with a sea view. At first I was given a single room with a double bed, a disgusting bathroom, and a toilet that wouldn't flush. They moved me to another room. That one was fine apart from the bathroom, which had no curtain or shower door, and no toilets at all.

I have celiac disease, and the range of products they offered was huge, with quality that's unusual to find. The food was delicious, too. We were there for three days, and though the bathroom was a bit small, it was perfectly adequate. The beach is just below the hotel, spotless, and great for children. The location and service were both great. We'll be back next summer for a longer visit. Excellent!

The food itself was good, but the children's meals never arrived, and the first courses took an hour. The room was ridiculous for five people, just five square meters, with a balcony facing the building. We learned only when we got there that the parking was a kilometer away, which was awful with three small children. On departure day there was a market right in front of the hotel, and nobody had warned us. When I asked if I could park outside briefly, they firmly said no, so I would've had to carry everything a kilometer with the kids. I was also told not to park in the garage. Gatteo a Mare has everything, even water, and the minimarket is a better option when a bottle at the hotel costs €3. I wouldn't stay here again. Minsi even disputes what was free for children, but when were the children served first? Never. And where did the claim of 25 square meters for the room come from? Write things as they are. Kind regards, treat people better.
